Privacy Policy
This policy describes how this website processes personal data. The Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) applies, and for visitors from the EU the GDPR applies in addition.
Controller
The provider named in the imprint is responsible for processing personal data on this website. For data protection enquiries please use the email address given there.
Principle
This website is purely informational. You can view all content without providing any personal information.
There are no user accounts, no login, no payment processing and no database of visitor data. Personal data arises only when you contact us through the contact form or by email.
Contact form
When you use the contact form we process the details you enter: name, email address, subject and your message.
These details are delivered to us by email only and are used to handle your enquiry. They are not stored in any database belonging to this website.
The legal basis is your consent together with our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. You may withdraw your enquiry at any time by writing to us.
Abuse prevention
To prevent automated submissions we check a form field that is invisible to humans, as well as the time between the form being opened and submitted.
We also limit the number of submissions per IP address per hour. Your IP address is held in memory only for the duration of that window and is then discarded. It is not stored permanently and is not linked to your message.
Server log files
When this website is accessed, technical connection data is recorded on the server, such as IP address, timestamp, the address requested, the status code and the browser identifier.
This data serves secure operation and fault diagnosis. It is not used to build usage profiles and is not combined with other data.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies for advertising or analytics purposes.
The only technically necessary storage is your language choice, so that the site appears in the language you selected. A consent banner is therefore not required.
Analytics
No web analytics is currently in use. If one is introduced later, it will be a cookie free solution without personal identification, and this policy will be updated beforehand.
Processors
We use service providers who process data on our behalf in order to operate this website. This covers hosting of the site and delivery of the emails generated by the contact form.
These providers are contractually bound to confidentiality and may use the data solely to deliver the service concerned.
Disclosure abroad
Personal data is disclosed to countries outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area only where a service provider we use is operated there. In that case we ensure an adequate level of protection, in particular through standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Enquiries from the contact form are kept for as long as is necessary to handle them and to answer any follow up questions, and are deleted thereafter.
Server log files are overwritten automatically after a short period.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data processed about you and to have it corrected or deleted. You may object to processing and, where applicable, request your data in a common format.
Please write to the email address given in the imprint. In order to act on your request we must be able to verify your identity.
Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). People in the EU may also contact their competent supervisory authority.
Changes
We may amend this policy if the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here at any given time applies.
